Eliza Dushku to Guest on White Collar

The delectable Eliza Dushku is set to guest star in the upcoming third season of USA’s great crime caper series White Collar.

The actress, best known for her roles in Joss Whedon’s Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Dollhouse, will appear in the ninth episode of the new season according to White Collar creator Jeff Eastin; Dushku had also previously hinted at the role on twitter.

Dushku’s White Collar appearance will see her reunited with Matt Bomer who plays the show’s leading man Neal Caffrey. Bomer co-starred with Dushku in the criminally underrated Tru Calling along with a pre-Hangover Zach Galifianakis back in the mid-2000s.

Eastin has reportedly teased that the two will pick up where they left off on Tru Calling (on which they dated) by having a bit of a fling.

Although the role would appear to be a one-time appearance for Dushku, things have apparently been set up so she could be brought back for future appearances down the line.

I can’t really speculate how Dushku will factor in to the new season of White Collar because as a poor, neglected UK viewer we are still waiting on season 2, which looks like never seeing the light of day at present thanks to Sky’s buy-out of Bravo last year.

Suffice to say though, any episode of any show that features ass-kicking geek-bait like Dushku is going to be a good one.
