HBO Premiere Dates for True Blood, Entourage & Curb

HBO have set the summer premiere dates for veteran returning shows True Blood, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Entourage, three shows that I have followed pretty much from day one.

Alan Ball’s Southern vampire yarn True Blood will return for a twelve episode fourth season on Sunday 26th June. The upcoming season will introduce witches to Bon Temps to compliment the pre-existing line-up of vampires, shape-shifters, werewolves and faeries according to the creator.

The eighth season of Larry David’s sublime comedy Curb Your Enthusiasm will begin on Sunday 10th July and will run for the now traditional ten episodes. A large part of this new season was filmed in New York rather than LA where most of the seven previous seasons were based and teasers have already hit the net with Larry as Godzilla trampling through the streets of The Big Apple.

The eighth, and final, season of Entourage will begin on Sunday 24th July for a reduced eight episode run before a rumoured movie to wrap up the story.

Season seven of Entourage concluded this past week in the UK so let’s hope Sky Atlantic don’t make us wait too long for season eight, so long-time fans of the show can find out if Vince escapes the downward spiral he was in for much of the darker seventh season.
